Welcome to my unofficial, personal World of Darkness - Vampire: The Masquerade web site. This site a Storyteller's aid dedicated primarily to the "Table-Top" style of roleplaying. This website will not get you started playing Vampire and it doesn't contain everything you ever wanted to know about the game. First, you must buy the game books from White Wolf. There is a quick-start kit available at their website so you can try the game before you buy it! I highly recommend buying the books, the game has entertained my friends and I for years!

Purpose of this Website

Arcane World of Darkness is a personal, non-profit website. It consists mostly of stories and characters created by Dean Anderson, Scott McKean, and our "troupe". This is a non-profit, unofficial World of DarknessTM website created for personal use and designed to entertainment people who play White Wolf's games.

This site is for sharing of information with the players and storytellers who are participating in the chronicles I have created. Another purpose of this site are to share story and chronicle ideas with other players and storytellers, update my friends on the current events in the stories I am telling, and encourage purchase of White Wolf's gaming products. I and the players of this chronicle have purchased all of the Vampire books and supplements available from White Wolf, and we encourage the reader to do the same.

I would like to give credit, attribution, and many thanks to White Wolf for the concept of the World of DarknessTM games.

I am Dean Anderson, creator and owner of the Arcane World of Darkness website which is dedicated to playing White Wolf Storyteller games in the World of Darkness. There is a remote control site navigator window on this website... just click the rose found on the homepage.

I am an experienced Storyteller for Vampire: The Masquerade and I have been playing and storytelling role-playing games since 1980. I am most experienced with AD&D 2nd Edition and Vampire: The Masquerade, as well as a number of other games ranging from Star Frontiers to GURPS.
