M30.   Mirsakov Archon Model 300 incendiary cyclic chain gun

The Archon-300 is a heavy mounted machine gun about 6 feet long. It fires 10mm explosive-tipped caseless armor-piercing rounds at a rate of 50 rounds per second. The bullets are designed to pierce armor and then explode. If the armor is pierced, the bullet explodes inside the target causing incendiary damage. If the armor is not pierced, the bullet explodes against the armor, thereby blowing a hole through the armor and still causing significant damage to the target. It uses the same rounds as the Archon-200.

Much like the Archon-100, the 300 rounds cannot be found easily. They are expensive and can usually only be found at Mirsakov's plant or at a black-market reseller.

It is generally used as a fully-automatic weapon with a 1000-round ammo drum. However, 5,000-round ammo drums can also be purchased.

It can be fired manually (with penalties), but it's primary mode of control is it's computer. You use a laptop which is connected to the gun's computer. This way, you can fire the weapon from a remote location.

At an extra cost, the weapon can be equipped similarly to the Archon-200 sniper rifle, with a powerful scope with night-vision and motion-sensing capability, and it has a wind-sensor which allows the weapon to compensate for wind that might alter the bullet's trajectory. The motion sensor allows the weapon to target even a cloaked vampire with a -2 point dice penalty to initiative and a +2 difficulty penalty to hit. So, when targeting a moving, cloaked vampire, there is a total 7 dice initiative penalty and the to-hit difficulty is 8 (or 10 for called shot). As soon as the vampire stops moving, the motion sensor loses track of him; however, you can fire at the last known location (with a penalty assigned by the Storyteller based on the circumstances).

Half the damage done by this weapon is aggravated and half is non-aggravated.

Unbeknownst to mortal society, the Archon-300 was created as a vampire-hunting weapon for use by some of the Camarilla's archons. The Justicars have kept tight supervision and security regarding distribution of these weapons in order to ensure they don't fall into the hands of mortal vampire-hunters.

So, if you do 19 points of damage, 10 is non-aggravated and 9 is aggravated. The target may roll stamina to soak the 10 non-aggravated damage. Then he rolls Fortitude to soak the 9 aggravated damage. If the target has Fortitude 5 and Stamina 1, he is going to take more non-aggravated damage but not as much aggravated damage. If he has Fortitude 1 and Stamina 5, he is going to take about the same amount of damage, but more of it will be aggravated.
