Ansel has spent most of his existance, at least the last thousand years, traveling all over Europe and Asia. Through the Dark Ages he became a master swordsman and adventurer, and by the 11th century many countries considered him the most deadly mercenary assassin who ever lived. Among Kindred and Kine he was a legend.

He is 6'4", 240 pounds, blue eyes, and a pleasant yet condescending grin. Ansel was known for his ability to remain calm and grin at even the most terrible situation. And although he was never aroused to anger, he was a cold warrior with little regard for life. He would pleasantly laugh at someone's joke and then sever their head a moment later.

Ansel rarely had to rely on diplomacy or complex strategies to survive any perils. He brutally fought his way through everything, and he always won.

Ansel has black veins in his aura. He was embraced in 23 A.D. by a 5th-generation Brujah. In 1389 he diablerized an elder vampire and became 5th-generation himself.
