Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Brenda moved to New Orleans in January, 1998. Only a month later, after Wildcard Jay's death on February 2, 1998, Brenda became primogen.

Brenda appears to be a large, hairy man dressed up like a woman. Indeed, Brenda thinks he is a woman. Brenda looks like an overweight version of Corporal Klinger from M.A.S.H. Brenda speaks with a deep, gruff, growling voice but always presents 'herself' in a friendly and pleasant manner. Brenda has a reputation for being outgoing and kind.

Around the turn of the millennium there was a time when Lester nearly replaced Brenda as primogen for a short time, but after some struggling, Brenda retained the position.
