Information:
Caine was the first vampire. When God insisted that Caine sacrifice something he loved, Caine sacrificed his brother. For that, God cursed him. Later, Caine met Lilith, who had also been cursed and was apparantly a vampire-like creature herself. Caine learned from Lilith, who helped him grow strong. Seeing this, God's angels came and offered Caine a way to redemption. When Caine refused, the angels placed curses on him. The angels later offered Caine the choice again, several times. Each time Caine refused and the angels placed more curses upon him. Caine passed his curses on to the progeny he created.
