Demetrius is the Ventrue Justicar. The early part of his life was spent in Egypt, India, Greece, and Italy. However, he spent most of the 20th century in Japan.

In 1942, one of his childer convinced the Japanese to declare a surpise attack on the United States. After this terrible mistake, Demetrius punished his progeny by destroying him. In later years, Demetrius went through a series of changes. He became fanatically loyal to the Ma'el for some time, but later turned against them and lead an attack against their stronghold in Mexico City.

Demetrius is Director of the IKSA. Unfortunately, in 2017 the financial experts in the IKSA concluded the organization may need to downsize and cut back.

Only a handful of Awakened individuals are aware that Demetrius died while someone was trying to remove the CVI from his head. Before he died, his last act of his own free will was to give his secret IKSA command codes to Fade Horne to use against the Ma'el. Fade then assumed the identity of Demetrius. Inner Circle representative Gustav Breidenstein knows who Demetrius really is but has chosen not to take any action against him yet.
