Jerid was one of Kallio's progeny. He was recently embraced in 1996, and he was still considered a child. He was killed February 1, 1998. Most evidence indicates he was killed by lupine, but there are rumors that his death was part of Carter Fontaine's plan to start a war with the werewolves.
