Little is known about Octavius. He became Justicar in 1969, but he was around for a long time before that. He lived somewhere in Africa and had many archons to deal with Malkavian issues in other countries. His archons disguise themselves and observe for some time before introducing themselves.

On February 13, 1998, Octavius was destroyed in New Orleans by a group of vampires known as the "Nation of Domination".

A few days later, several of Octavius's archons came to New Orleans and joined Justicar Xaviar in the investigation.

One of our informants has indicated that Hades had his appearance altered to resemble a gargoyle.
