Vladimir is a mysterious, soft spoken vampire with a Turkish/Eastern European accent who came to live in New Orleans in 1979. He has no regular residence; he changes his haven every week or so. As far as anyone knows, Vladimir is not a member of the Sabbat, but he is not involved in Camarilla politics either.

Vladimir is a skilled surgeon and body craftsman by use of Vicissitude. He has been known to alter the appearance of vampires, but he charges a steep fee.

However, rumor is his skill deteriorated slightly after his encounter with Archon Algernon Bayard, who combined powerful Dominate and Auspex powers to interrogate Vladimir, causing him permanent brain damage and destroying his strength of will. Although Vladimir is still skilled with Vicissitude, few vampires trust him now and his reputation is ruined. Many fear that he is now a pawn of Algernon Bayard, though no one has seen the two together since February 1998.
