Wildcard Jay was a member of the New Orleans primogen until he was destroyed under bizaar circumstances on February 2, 1998. He was a professional gambler and owned several nightclubs and a local casino. He has at least three progeny, including Camille Benz, Julian Hemmingway, and Gene Garfield.

Many say Wildcard Jay lived for the practical joke. His entire existance seemed to be dedicated to stirring up trouble and playing elaborate practical jokes on other kindred. Some say it was one such joke that lead to his destruction.

Brenda was voted to replace him as primogen for the Malkavian clan.

On Valentines Day evening, a memorial service was held for him, directed by Brenda.
