Alex is the black sheep of the Ventrue clan, and many believe he is not long for this world. His good luck and his being protected by the Ventrue primogen has kept him alive much longer than most expected.

He has been a vampire for about 20 years. In his mortal life, Alex made his living as a cat burglar and supplemented his income by racing cars professionally. Now, he spends most of his time seeking thrills and danger when he isn't working on his motorcycles. He has been punished more than once for starting fights and shooting other cars on the freeway; he is currently seeing a shrink to talk about is road rage.

Alex spent some time as a night security patrol guard but was fired after he broke rules and protocol for an entire week -- and rather heroicly and single handedly brought down a ring of criminals without calling for backup. "This isn't a place for vigilante heros," they told him.

So, Alex has been finding other ways to earn a living since then.

A few Kindred have begun to notice Alex has a knack for disciplines outside those typical for his clan.
