M'Ataragin is one of the Kindred who was here when Anson was prince. He is believed to be a member of a loose knit coterie along with Scar and a young Tremere. The other members of that coterie have either left town or been destroyed.

There are rumors that this group was involved with the revolution that overthrew Anson in the early 1990's, but there is no clear indication of who's side they were on, nor is there any proof of their involvement.
