Hector, the poor guy, would have ulcers, high blood pressure, and a drinking problem if he were mortal. Before becoming primogen, Hector was a Brujah elder in Seattle. He was given permission to Embrace in 1982, and this excited him a great deal. He hurried to find someone, and he chose the first person who came to mind -- a young spitfire name Eddie Vincent. Hector always felt sorry for the young, misunderstood, rebelious types. Eddie was a punk, but he was a kid with a good heart who always fought for what he felt was right and he always stood up for the underdog. So, Hector Embraced Eddie Vincent.

Hector didn't spend much time teaching Eddie about the Traditions; rather, he encouraged Eddie to follow his heart. About 10 years later, after after Eddie was thrown off the Space Needle by the local archon, Hector lost some status with the local Kindred for several years.

Through the 1990's, Brujah numbers dwindled as a result of the conflict with the anarchs and the overthrowing of two Princes. In the end, Hector was the only Brujah left in the city who had any status at all. So, he became primogen. He now rules the Brujah clan like a single parent caring for hyperactive, neglected, chemically imbalanced foster children.

In 2010, Hector's luck may have changed. The progeny of the well known and respected Prince Tara of San Diego has moved to Seattle. Hector knows Tara; in fact, he owes her a boone. She has asked Hector to provide some help to her progeny so that he may established some footing in Seattle. Hector has been instructed to give "special consideration" to her progeny's requests. While Hector has been, in effect, co-ruling the Brujah clan, things have actually improved. Although Hector is somewhat annoyed by having to put up with this newcomer, he has actually found some relief in having an advisor who has managed to bring some money and order back into the Brujah clan.
