After the upheaval and chaos of the 1990's, many Kindred left Seattle and new faces arrived to settle in the Emerald City. One of these new arrivals was Joshua Felix, a powerful Ventrue elder with vast underworld connections as well as friends in Chicago and New Orleans such as Al Capone, Vincento Mancini, and others. Joshua was a crime boss but retired when he moved to Seattle to take over the Amazon Corporation and oversee his piece of Microsoft.

Joshua is said to be the grandsire of Alex Kirsh, who is also his mortal descendant.
