Progeny of Prince Blake Laren, Nicholas has been Blake's enforcer for many years and assisted Theodora in taking the city from the Tremere in 1994.

Nicholas is known to be a master gunfighter, possibly since the 1800's.

Nicholas keeps the Kindred guessing about his ideals and inner personality; no one seems to know what interests him or motivates him. On the surface, he is a fanatic about everything he does, especially his job. Underneath, some suspect there is a lot more depth to his character than that of a simple soldier.
