Malachi awoke from torpor in the early 1990's in the city of Seattle during the bloodshed caused by the overthrow of Prince Anson. Sire to the Nosferatu primogen of Seattle (Lucia), Malachi stayed in the background and spent some time observing, using Lucia to help him spy on the new leaders and new faces in the city. Lucia kept Malachi well informed about the city politics. Around the time Theodora took control of Seattle in 1994, Malachi came forward and announced that Lucia had left the city and that he would now be Nosferatu primogen. During that same year, Malachi's other progeny, Delos, left the city. A few months later, Malachi introduced his new progeny, Corra, to the Prince.

In the year 2000, Malachi appeared in Las Vegas, introduced by Prince Dominic as primogen for Clan Nosferatu. It is believed that one of the local Nosferatu is Delos, who came to Las Vegas in 1994.

Throughout most of the 20th century, the Nosferatu had little to do with the affairs of Las Vegas. And that hasn't changed much, except for the fact that the prince of the city is Nosferatu. Every few years, however, the Nosferatu have made their presence known. The leader and sire of the local Nosferatu is Malachi. Aside from the fact that he rarely attends conclave (the prince does this and informs Malachi of all he needs to know), little is known about this vampire.
