The Primus Class Battlecruisers are the main large capital ships of the Tarathi Empire. The design is fairly old, but it still packs quite a punch. The Primus is a around 1 km long. The ship also has a jump-point generator, and there is artificial gravity on board. Three versions of this class has been observed: The emperors royal liner (a heavily modified Battlecruiser), the flagship "Valerius" (a luxury version), and the normal Primus Class.

The Vorchan Class Warcruisers are the backbone of the Tarathi military, produced in great numbers. It is relatively small capital ship, around 350 meters long, and very manueverable. While these ships are not as powerful as the older Primus Class Battlecruiser, they are heavily armed for their size, and they operate in packs with deadly efficiency. The Vorchan Class has artificial gravity and tractor beam capability, and they are jump-point capable. Due to their aerodynamic shape and powerful engines, these ships are also capable of limited atmospheric flight. The main body of a Vorchan Class Warcruiser has forward pointing "wings" sticking out on the top, bottom, right, and left side. The front of the ship has a beak-like shape where the main heavy weapon is located.

They have artificial gravity, swimming pools, huge kitchens and dining rooms, and numerous richly decorated suites. There are less than four of these ships in service, one of which was lost by a wealthy Tarathi Ambassador in a poker game. These ships are lightly armed, moderately armored, and usually carry six Sentri Class Fighters.

Kapair Class Destroyer

The Kapair Destroyer was replaced by the Vorchan Class ship a few years ago, but several dozen remain in active service. The Kapair Destroyer vaguely resembles a Star Trek Defiant-class ship. The Kapair is slightly smaller than the Vorchan, and is similar but just slightly inferior in speed, weapons, armor, maneuverability etc. When The Vorchan Class ship became the standard, many Kapair Destroyers became noble family defense ships and security transports, while others in active military service are used for small crews under low-ranking captains.
